Six Pack Throw Back

Each team gets 6 cups, 3 per person. Fill all the cups with beer then one person slams their beer and when the cup hits the table the next person starts. You go back and forth like that until the whole six pack is gone.

Required Items
  • 12 12oz plastic cups
  • 6-Pack of Beer

Amsterdam Beer Slapping

A group of people stand around. One takes the initiative and suddenly places a full glass of beer on his head, and holds it there with one hand. Others follow his example. They slap the last one to do so on the head.

It is best played with six or seven people. Once started, the game usually deteriorates into an evening of protracted beer slapping warfare.

Introduction of this game to novices should be spontaneous. Simply place a glass of beer on your head. Soon, someone will ask you for the reason behind your absurd behavior. Slap him as described above. Then the two of you repeat the procedure with a third person. Alternatively, try the line: do you know what Amsterdam beer slapping is? Then repeat as above.

Rules:

- You may not slap without a glass on your own head. You MUST hold it there while slapping.
- You may not slap with an empty glass on your head.
- Slapping must be on the head. The face is not allowed.
- No deliberate spilling of beer allowed.

Drinking:
- The last one to place a glass on his head gets the new round
- Anyone to use empty glasses gets the new round.

A race for Chase

Two players across from each other, each with 3 to 5 shots lined up in front of them. Fill with liquor of choice, but the stakes get higher the cheaper the liquor is. Have one chaser sitting in between the two of you. Each player has a hand behind their back. Take the shots, and when every single one is empty reach for the chaser. Whoever loses doesn't get a chaser until the winner willingly gives it away.

Required Items
  • 10 Shot glasses
  • 12oz Cup

Beat the bar man

You'll need your own barman (a quiet bar is usually Ok) and a ton of cash. You order a shot and pay with a banknote that will require the barman to get you change. You must have your drink finished by the time he returns. You win if the bar closes. You lose if you fall over or get chucked out.

Required Items
  • Bar
  • Cash

Beer Mile

You need 5 beers per person. The skill comes into play when you see who can stomach it.

All you do is drink a beer, run one lap on a track, drink a 2nd beer, run your 2nd lap on the track, etc. Do this for four laps, then drink a beer once you're finished. First one done wins.

You can also modify the rules to whatever... for example, if you throw up, you are disqualified or get penalty time or something like that.

Required Items
  • Open field

Beer Relays

You need at least two teams of four people to play, since it is a relay race. Each person gets a large cup around 16 to 20 ounces and sets it down along a chosen line. The first person's cup is around 20 yards away and goes down in five yard increments for each following person.

The first person runs as fast as possible to their beer, chugs it, then runs back and tags the next person who does the same. The first team finished wins. Teams are disqualified for puking or excessive spillage during chugging.

Required Items
  • Open field
  • 8 16oz cups

Boat Captain

It's every man or woman for themselves. You'll need a referee to watch over the game. What happens is, you start out with however many people you'd like. To start the game, all participants raise their cups of beer and exclaim "Everybody drinks, everybody wins!!!"

The referee gives the call and everybody drinks and then tries to flip their empty cup off the edge of the table so that it lands upside down. After each participant completes their flip they raise their arm and yell "Done!". The last two people to finish their flip are eliminated.

Keep playing and eliminating people until there is a champion. Make sure when your champ wins that you give them a nice clear path to the toilet cause the beer will be up in no time! The champion can be called "Captain" until he/she is overthrown as champ.

Boats

You have two even teams, a table, and each person has a plastic cup filled with beer.

One person from each team starts, slams the beer, puts the cup on the edge and tries to flip over the cup upside down before the other person on the other team does. The next person on the team cannot go until the person flips over the cup successfully. Which ever teams finishes first wins.

Required Items
  • 8 Plastic cups

Case Race

This is a simple game. Start out with 4 of your best drinkers. Challenge any other group of four people. Each 4 person group is a team. Each team gets a case. Find a ref who will judge fair.

When the ref says start everyone starts drinking. The winning team is the first team done with all of their beer. Every can must be completely empty. If the ref rules a can is not empty then it must be drank before your team can win. Any spills or throwing up results in a 30 sec penalty added to your total time.

Chug Race

Each player needs his or her own cup. When everyone is ready, you start. Two people, sitting opposite from one another, fill their cups about halfway, maybe two-thirds (it's really a matter of personal choice). Chug the beer. When one person's cup hits the table, the person sitting directly to the left fills his or her cup halfway and chugs it.

The point is that the two cups chase each other around the table until one catches the other. When both cups end up at one person, that person drinks both beers. Then the game restarts.
